Volume 2: Advanced Control Piano features a duality of programming uncommon to most sample libraries. In Program mode, a huge variety of sounds are made available by simply moving the front panel sliders. However, rack users and some newer keyboard users may prefer not to deal with real-time controllers. With that in mind, this library uses Setup mode to provide dozens of useful, ready-to-go variations on the provided programs.
For solo pianos, these setups vary filter response, amplitude response, amount of initial sustain, sympathetic resonance level, stereo width, and simulated acoustics. Layered programs are varied as well, most commonly with respect to the brightness of the piano, but also with active layers and effects treatments.
